I started a journey to my Aunt's home yesterday with a full tank of petrol, 50 litres, but at that exact moment my petrol tank sprang a leak. I managed to drive 80 kilometres before coming to a complete stop with an empty petrol tank. So one hour into my journey I had to get some more petrol. I know that the car manages 5 kilometres per litre of petrol. How quickly was I losing petrol....?                                                                         AND THE Answer :                                                                                                                         Since I was travelling for one hour and I lost all of my petrol in that one hour, I must have been losing it at a rate of 34 litres per hour, because the car had used 16 litres in travelling the 80 kilometres.
