Because of my extraordinary mother,
I am confident and strong.
She showed me how to love for others,
She taught me right from wrong.
Her love is unconditional,
for the hearts of all her family.
My mother is subliminal,
At least she is to me!
I've learned a lot over the years,
From this one brave soul.
She said smile and wipe the tears
When life begins to take its toll.
I miss seeing her every morning,
Reading the newspaper in her favorite chair.
It ended soon with little warning,
What I'd give for more time to spare.
The loss of feeling in her arms secure,
In a cold quiet house, I was all alone.
My love for her is so truly pure,
Whenever I am with her, I am at home.
For a daughter knows where her heart lies,
At least, I do within me.
It's beneath her mother's eyes,
That's where it will always be.
Today, Tomorrow and Forever!
