As It Burns!  |
As i watch the candle burn down and down
i just start thinking how i feel like that candle,
that i'm just melting down and not able to hold on anymore,
then as i watch the fire get bigger
i feel as if its telling me to hold and be strong.
Then as i watch the wax drip
i feel as if those are my tears strolling down my face.
As the candle burns i just sit there staring,
relating myself to the candle,
feeling as if i know its pain and it knows mine,
but we just sit there and let the tears run down
because we can't make them stop,
and as hard as we try,
we just can't hold on anymore.
