Virus Warning From Symantec 's Website

Trojan.Peacomm spreading using "worm alerts"
Trojan.Peacomm is spreading using email messages with subject lines like "Worm Activity Detected!" and "Worm Alert!". Ensure that antivirus software is up-to-date and avoid opening unstrusted email. >
Trojan.Peacomm

The DH got a notification at work about this threat (he works in telecom).  Apparently the email spoofs your ISP/email providers email address and says that you need to download their "patch" in order to remove the threat.  DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE PATCH as it is the actual worm.

If you get an email like this, the best thing to do is scan your computer with your installed anti-virus program.
